“The Camo Coalition model works.
We formed the Camo Coalition in Georgia almost three years
ago and now have a membership of over 24,000 informed and
active hunters and fishermen. We work at the local, state
and national level, and our Camo Coalition already has had
many victories for hunters and anglers in Georgia. A few include:
successfully leading the state in passing a “right to
hunt and fish constitutional amendment” by a 71 percent
margin, getting funding for land acquisition for more Wildlife
Management Areas, and convincing our Congressional delegation
not to support the sale of some of Georgia’s national
forests. The Camo Coalition is without question the most effective
conservation tool in Georgia. It will work in North Carolina,
too.”
