The
North Carolina Camouflage Coalition is a statewide electronic
network of sportsmen and women that allows hunters and anglers
to monitor and impact issues that affect hunting, fishing,
and conservation on a local, state, and national level. The
purpose of the Camouflage Coalition is to organize hunters
and anglers to act quickly when issues arise that affect hunting
and fishing.
Linked together by the Internet, Camouflage Coalition members receive critical information about legislation and policy changes that could affect wildlife management and outdoor recreation in North Carolina. Using the simple, straightforward, and free tools of the Camouflage Coalition website, members can voice their concerns to their elected representatives—with a simple click of a computer mouse.

Richard B. Hamilton serves as Camouflage Coalition Coordinator.
Hamilton, former director of the N.C. Wildlife Resources Commission,
brings unparalleled expertise and enthusiasm to the task of
guarding hunting and fishing. Hamilton, a lifelong hunter
and fisherman, relates well to the hunting and fishing fraternity.
“As we organize hunters and anglers and others interested
in wildlife conservation into a well-informed and strong network,
we will protect the future of hunting and fishing,”
says Hamilton. “We need to stand together and present
a united front.”
